"Greek women printmakers in the Alpha Bank Collection"

The exhibition entitled “Greek women printmakers in the Alpha Bank Collection” will be open for the public until May 2024, at the Alpha Bank Cultural Centre in Nafplio.

Forty works from the Alpha Bank Art Collection, created by 35 women artists, are presented in the exhibition. At the exhibition space the guest can also read the biographical notes than are accompanying the works, as well as the descriptions of the basic techniques of printmaking.

The main goal of the exhibition is to highlight the role of women artists in the field of visual arts, especially in printmaking.
The exhibition is accompanied by the educational program “Women Artists from the Alpha Bank Collection”, which is addressed to students of Primary and Secondary education. The aim of the educational program is to familiarize the students of Nafplio area with the rich and diverse artistic production of women creators as manifested in the works of the Alpha Bank Art Collection.

Two corresponding brochures, with activities and games, suitable for each level of education, have been designed for the needs of the program and will be available at the exhibition.
In addition, guided tours for adults are offered.
