The Alpha Bank Historical Archives were established in 1999 with a view to preserving the corporate identity and recording the history of the businesses that make up the Alpha Bank Group. Its remit is to gather, catalogue and safe keep the archive collections, to seek out new material to enrich them and to preserve the most important records of the daily operations of the Bank and the Group Companies. The Alpha Bank Historical Archives also lend their support to publications which refer to the history of enterprises as well as to exhibitions and other relevant events and undertake the organisation of academic meetings.
The Alpha Bank Historical Archives today have at their disposal a very large amount of archive material which includes documents, photographs, videos and commemorative items. Of these documents a significant portion has already been digitalised or is about to be transcribed into digital form.
