The exhibition entitled “Alpha Bank/History ΙΙ: Commercial Credit Bank, 1947-1972”, organised by the Historical Archives of the Bank, was presented at the Alpha Bank Main Building Exhibition Area in Athens.

This was the second of a series of exhibitions pertaining to the history of the Bank and constituted a continuation of the exhibition “Alpha Bank/History Ι: Banque de Crédit Commercial Hellénique, 1924-1947”, covering the history of the Bank during that period, which was presented from November 2010 until May 2011, at the same space.

The Exhibition’s aim was to outline, through an extremely rich as well as diverse material, the course of the Bank during the years 1947-1972; a period of rapid development for Greece and the Bank which consolidated its position in the domestic banking system as a significant factor of economic life.

An Exhibition catalogue was published.

Guided tours were conducted during the Exhibition.
