The Kouloura Primary School, Imatheia, a pioneer in synergies and initiatives, hosted the museum kit during October-November 2022. Through the specially designed educational material of the museum kit, 40 schoolchildren aged 9 to 12 had the chance to:

  • Become familiar with key financial concepts they use in their everyday life and with modern transaction methods.
  • Travel through the history of coins and financial transactions, from antiquity to the present day.

We also chose this school to record the new video on the Numismatic Collection’s “Currency and Transactions. From Yesterday to Nowadays” travelling museum kit.

We wish to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the School’s Principal, Mr Dimitrios Katsavos, for his keen spirit and the excellent cooperation we have been enjoying all these years through the Numismatic Collection’s educational programmes, as well as teachers Ms Anagnosti and Ms Makridaki, who ran the programme.

A relevant update was posted on the Kouloura Primary School official website, with rich photographic material and relevant information.
