Two distinguished artists, one deep friendship

Rena Papaspyrou and Aspa Stasinopoulou, with modernism as their common point of reference, managed to pique and maintain the interest of the public undiminished from their very early artistic years. Each shaped her very own, personal artistic vernacular. Through it, their work remained recognisable and unique over time.

A long-standing friendship connected these 2 distinguished Greek artists. They sealed their appreciation for each other with a common work: a performance of Aspa Stasinopoulou in the courtyard of the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens, donning a work of art by Aspa Stasinopoulou.

The Alpha Bank Art Collection also features the work Nike III by Aspa Stasinopoulou.
