Exhibition “Greece, an iconic land. Art in the Greek National Tourism Organisation posters (1929-1976)” extended

The exhibition “Greece, an iconic land. Art in the Greek National Tourism Organisation posters (1929-1976)” was met with great success and attracted a large number of visitors, prompting the Alpha Bank Art Collection and the National Historical Museum to extend its run until 10 January 2027.

46 iconic posters

The exhibition will continue to be available to the public at the Banknote Museum of the Ionian Bank on the island of Corfu. Through 46 iconic posters, visitors have the opportunity to discover the connection between art and Greek tourism, as well as the decisive role of the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO) posters in shaping Greece’s image abroad.
